Instructions for use: Add 1 tablespoon (15 g) of chia seeds daily to your cereals, yoghurt,smoothie, gravies, salads, pancake batter, and also to soups and sandwiches. They may be used as gelling agents. Before use, soak in water or some other liquid (juice, milk) for about 10 minutes to make use of seeds hydrophilic properties.

Chia (salva hispanica) originates from central and southern America. Its seeds were staple of the diet of the ancient civilizations such as the Maya and Aztecs that named the plant "Chia", which in their language means "strong" or "powerful". Due to its nutritional value and its neutral flavour, it is an ideal addition to various meals.
